Completed a journey in the South Pacific

Just completed a journey in the South Pacific through a complex itinerary (Micronesia - Marshall Islands - Kiribati - Tuvalu - Nauru - Solomon Islands - Vanuatu). Oceania countries are above and below of equator line with summer, winter, and no-season at the same time, pacific-islands are to the left and right of the date-line with 24 hours gap. Logistics is complicated, and airlines linking different islands are very few. This is the continent of the smallest economies, but these micro-nations have a significant role in regional geopolitics and Beijing has increased its economic ties with the Pacific Islands. China has become one of the major players in the region, replacing the United States in most areas.
